There is always something to do or see in Zandvoort. With the beautiful natural surroundings, the magnificent beach and a well-filled entertainment programme, there is something for everyone. But the surroundings of Zandvoort are also worth a visit. If you are interested in art and culture, you can easily plan a day trip to Amsterdam and Haarlem from Zandvoort. This is the great advantage of a coastal town that is so centrally located and has its own railway station. But there are also beautiful hiking trails in the area, an extensive network of cycle paths and the largest playground in Europe: you can go in all directions from Zandvoort!
Haarlem is a super nice and cosy place with nice shopping streets, pretty courtyards that you should definitely discover and cosy market. Lots of nice restaurants, but you have to discover them for yourself, that’s personal. Of course, also visit the Sint Bavo. A very cosy place to be.

Zandvoort has a direct train connection to Amsterdam. You can travel from the beach to Amsterdam Central Station within 30 minutes, so you can combine a day at the beach with a visit to our vibrant capital. A little closer is Haarlem, which also has a direct train connection. It’s a 15-minute journey through beautiful countryside to the capital of North Holland.
