30 minutes after your departure from Amsterdam, you arrive at Zandvoort’s over 100-year-old railway station. You can almost smell the sea already. Passing authentic fishermen’s cottages, you walk to the hotel just outside the centre of Zandvoort. And it does not disappoint: what a beautiful hotel!

After taking the luggage to the rooms, you grab the ready bikes. Really convenient that these were just available for rent at the hotel. Off to lunch! You stop in the city centre at Noble Tree. The outside already looks great, but even inside is totally your style. A luxurious look, delicious coffee, the most beautiful bowls and delicious juices.

Of to South Beach

After lunch, you will continue to the next stop: South Beach! The leisurely bike ride along the promenade and along the Waterleidingduinen, give a first impression of the other side of Zandvoort. Luxurious beach pavilions that wouldn’t be out of place in Marbella and stunning nature you had no idea about. After about three kilometres, you arrive at the beach exit. A climb over the dune brings you to South Beach. You taste the unique atmosphere immediately!

Work hard Play hard

Because sitting still for an entire afternoon is not for you, you book a kitesurfing lesson. The sun is shining and there is a slight breeze, so you have picked the ideal day to learn something new. And it goes even better than expected! Afterwards, of course, it is time to catch up over a drink.

The atmosphere at the beach club is so nice that you decide to have a bite to eat here too. The menu is great and the setting fantastic. Something is happening all around you, so you won’t get bored easily. What a wonderful place this is.

The next morning, you go to the beach for a while. You heard from the hotel owner that they offer yoga: an ideal end to the weekend. The smell of the sea, relaxing exercises, sand between your toes: sounds like a plan!

A last look at sea

Totally relaxed, you search your hotel room to change and pack your things. Along the boulevard, you walk back towards the station. Maybe have lunch on the beach first? Surely the train will be going soon.
