Zandvoort is still the only seaside resort in the Netherlands with a direct train connection from Amsterdam. The station is almost on the beach (200 meters)!
From Amsterdam Central Station, a train leaves for Zandvoort twice an hour. In the summer, a train leaves for Zandvoort every 15 minutes from Haarlem Central Station. Within 10 minutes (from Haarlem) or 25 minutes (from Amsterdam) you can enjoy everything Zandvoort has to offer!
If you are not travelling with an OV chip card, single-use chip cards can be purchased at the machines. These paper tickets are equipped with a chip that you can use to check in before your journey and check out afterwards. You can do this at the designated posts/gates.
