Henriët van Roosmalen – Rein, het witte Duinkonijn

From May 30 to July 26, 2026, Zandvoorts Museum presents a special exhibition by illustrator Henriët van Roosmalen. In the Museum Café, the original drawings of Rein, the white Dune Rabbit, a cheerful and educational scavenger hunt through historic Zandvoort, can be admired. The exhibition is free to visit.

On an adventure with Rein the Dune Rabbit

Step back in time and discover old Zandvoort through the eyes of illustrator Henriët van Roosmalen. This exhibition takes visitors on a journey through atmospheric watercolors and pen drawings of the village, in which iconic buildings such as the Town Hall, the Village Church, and vanished hotels on the boulevard come to life.

For children, there is a special scavenger hunt with Rein, the white Dune Rabbit. During his adventure, Rein accidentally jumps through a time cave and ends up in modern Zandvoort. His rabbit friends have disappeared, and together with young visitors, he searches for clues throughout the village to find them.

The exhibition is fun for children, families, and anyone interested in illustration, heritage, and the history of Zandvoort.
