Panorama Zandvoort – the timeless sea
At the Zandvoort Museum, you can enjoy the 360° film Panorama Zandvoort – The Timeless Sea at any time. The twelve-minute projection shows Zandvoort’s development from a fishing village to a seaside resort.
Images of fishermen, Empress Sisi’s walks, German bunkers in the dunes, and the rise of tourism and motorsports reveal how the place has evolved over time. Just like in The Life of Memories, the experience of the past takes center stage. The film emphasizes how the sea and beach are constantly changing while simultaneously providing a lasting backdrop for ever-changing generations. The installation won the Silver Screen Award (US International Film and Video Festival, 2020) and is on view exclusively at the Zandvoort Museum.
