Fancy an active and meaningful day out?
Book a beach clean-up with Juttersgeluk, a charity that cleans Zandvoort Beach every day. Join one of the regular beach clean-up mornings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays or Fridays. Enjoy a rewarding morning by the sea with fellow beach lovers while learning about plastic pollution, marine litter and how the collected materials are recycled by Juttersgeluk’s experienced beachcombers.
How does it work?
We’ll welcome you at our Jut Unit on the beach, near beach pavilion De Haven in Zandvoort. Together, we’ll prepare the beachcombing equipment. Over a cup of coffee or tea, you’ll get to know our team and learn how beachcombing works. Then it’s time to head out onto the beach.
At around 11.00 am, we’ll return to the Jut Unit to sort and assess everything we’ve collected before wrapping up the morning at 11.30 am.

Why your contribution matters
Your contribution helps Juttersgeluk keep Zandvoort Beach clean throughout the year while providing meaningful daytime activities for volunteers who, for various reasons, are not (yet) in paid employment but are eager to use their talents. Juttersgeluk is a non-profit organisation with ANBI status, meaning it is officially recognised as a public benefit charity.
