Starting in the spring of 2026, Zandvoort will boast a spectacular new attraction: World of Dinos – The Expedition . This brand-new, interactive family experience will transport you to the fascinating world of dinosaurs. Visitors will embark on an expedition through jungle and swamps, even discovering what lives underwater. Along the way, you’ll choose your role: will you become a paleontologist or would you rather dive into the lab? One thing’s for sure: this expedition is full of surprises.
The attraction will be located at Badhuisplein 7 in Zandvoort , in the former Holland Casino building. The exact opening date will be announced later, but World of Dinos – The Expedition will be open to visitors starting in the spring of 2026 .

World of Dinos – The Expedition is suitable for all ages and offers a complete experience for the whole family. Due to its exciting setting, the attraction may be less suitable for children under 4. Interactive elements ensure that both children and adults actively participate in the adventure.
Impressive and lifelike
Spanning approximately 6,000 to 10,000 m² , the exhibition is unique in the Netherlands. Visitors come face to face with gigantic dinosaurs in specially designed displays. All the models move and make sounds, from a roaring T-Rex to a lightning-fast Velociraptor. The combination of scale, sound, and movement creates an intense and immersive experience, where every detail is perfect.
Educational and interactive
Besides spectacle, education is central. World of Dinos combines entertainment with learning, taking visitors on a journey through prehistory. Children are challenged with an interactive scavenger hunt that playfully teaches them about dinosaurs and their habitats. Information boards and timelines offer scientifically sound explanations of species, evolution, and eras. All content has been carefully reviewed by experts.

World of Dinos has been active as an educational exhibition in the Netherlands since 2018 and has previously been shown at leading venues such as the Jaarbeurs Utrecht, Brabanthallen Den Bosch, the World Forum Theater in The Hague, and industrial locations like the Klokgebouw in Eindhoven and the Sugar Factory in Halfweg. Over the years, the exhibition has been expanded and further developed into a comprehensive, contemporary experience.
