Located in the middle of the dunes of Zandvoort lies the Kennemer Golf & Country Club, one of the oldest golf clubs in the Netherlands. The club was founded in 1910 and has been located at its current location in Zandvoort since 1928.
The 27-hole golf course is situated in the characteristic dune landscape and is shaped in part by the wind from the sea. Over the years, the Kennemer has been the setting for various national and international golf tournaments. The Dutch Open, later the KLM Open, was also played here several times.
The Kennemer Golf & Country Club is a members’ club. For golfers who are not members, playing is possible under certain conditions. During events, such as the KLM Open, the grounds open their doors to a wider public.
