The ‘De Rotonde’ First Aid Post is centrally located on the Zandvoort boulevard, at Badhuisplein, between beach tents 9 and 10. On warm summer days, professional healthcare providers are present here daily to offer assistance to beachgoers.
First Aid Post Opening Hours:
- Open daily from 12:00 to 20:00
- Closing at 5:00 PM in bad weather
- Closed in extremely bad weather (but reachable by phone at 023 – 571 44 45)
The first aid post is also the central reporting point for missing children and provides information about the beach police, lifeguards, ambulance services, and other emergency services.
Out-of-hours GP service on weekends:
From June through early September, a GP Out-of-Hours Service (HAP) is present at the same location on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, from 12:00 to 18:00.
Opening hours may be adjusted in case of extremely nice weather.
On weekends and public holidays, two first aiders are present, and at the GP out-of-hours service, a GP and assistant are also present.
