On Zandvoortselaan, near the entrance to the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes, you’ll find beekeeper Victor Bol’s De Bijentuin (The Bee Garden). Here you can buy delicious, organic honey that Victor makes himself with his bees, which are kept right in his garden in the dunes.
Feel free to pop in if the weather is nice – Victor is happy to tell you all about his bees, the natural environment in the dunes, and how he makes his honey. You’ll really taste the difference, because the bees get their nectar and pollen directly from the nature reserve.
Besides honey, you’ll also find other bee products here. Everything is processed in a pure way: the honey is cold-spun, strained, and jarred without additives.
