Located in the heart of Zuid-Kennemerland National Park, just 200 meters from the beach, lies Camping De Lakens – nominated by the ANWB as Beach Campsite of the Year. Surrounded by dune flora and with the sound of the waves in the background, this is the perfect place to enjoy peace, nature, and a relaxed beach atmosphere.
Spending the night in nature
De Lakens offers various accommodation options, from camping pitches for tents, caravans, and motorhomes to fully equipped De Waard tunnel tents. For a unique experience, there are also special rental accommodations, ideal for a carefree stay in the dunes.
Restaurant ‘Gestrand’ – Enjoyment for the whole family
Restaurant ‘Gestrand’ is located on the campsite, an atmospheric spot in the middle of nature. The extensive menu offers main courses, snacks, and takeaway dishes. While parents relax on the terrace, children can let off steam in the large outdoor playground or the indoor playground beneath the restaurant.
Opening hours outside the camping season:
From November to the end of March, open on weekends from 10:00 to 17:00 for lunch and drinks.
Parking: €13 per day and €8 in the evening.
Good to know
- Pets are not allowed due to the location in the National Park.
- Charcoal barbecues are not allowed , but a gas or electric BBQ is permitted.
- An extra small tent? This is possible, depending on the campsite.
