Celebrating 200 years of seaside resort Zandvoort
In 2026, Zandvoort will celebrate 200 years as a seaside resort. This milestone dates back to the construction of the toll road (1826-1828), which made Zandvoort accessible and developed from a fishing village to a popular seaside resort.
The anniversary year will be celebrated with a year full of activities, events and stories in which past, present and future come together. The jubilee agenda is organised by cultural institutions, makers, sports organisations and entrepreneurs from Zandvoort – together we put the village and its special history in the spotlight.
Check out the jubilee agenda below and keep an eye on it as there are more activities to come. Celebrate the year with us.
