Zandvoort is buzzing! The sun is shining, the beach is packed, and the roar of engines echoes through the dunes. It is time for the Dutch Grand Prix and the Zandvoort Race Festival!
The crocodile in the coloring page is completely in his element: he won first prize at the Soapbox Race with his vehicle, which he had been working on for months together with his father. The weather is beautiful, and the crocodile is quickly going to eat a delicious ice cream by the sea. This day couldn’t be better!
But that doesn’t only apply to krokodil: all visitors to Zandvoort will also have the time of their lives in the coming weeks. The entire village has been immersed in racing atmosphere, and the Formula 1 Heineken Dutch Grand Prix is roaring around the circuit. 2026 will be a summer never to be forgotten.
These weeks are all about speed, fun, and enjoying time together. So grab your colored pencils, give the crocodile and his beautiful soapbox their colors back, and bring the Zandvoort racing party to life. Because one thing is certain: nowhere does Formula 1 get as close as in Zandvoort!

The most beautiful entries will be exhibited in the village. Submit your entry no later than Wednesday, August 12 at Bruna Zandvoort (Grote Krocht 18). The prize winners will be honored in a festive manner during the official opening of the Zandvoort Race Festival on Saturday, August 16, 2026 at 14:30, on the winners’ podium in front of Raadhuisplein, just before the start of the soapbox race. There, they will receive a wonderful prize amidst loud applause from the crowd. Participating is therefore not only fun, but can also lead to an unforgettable moment in the spotlight!
