In October, it is rutting season in the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes: the time of year to see roaring and fighting fallow deer in action. During this guided wildlife walk, you will go in search of these impressive animals with a guide as they battle for the attention of the does. You only get the chance to experience this natural spectacle up close once a year.
The walk takes 2 to 2.5 hours and leads partly off the beaten path. This takes you to places you wouldn’t normally visit and allows you to experience nature in a unique way. Sturdy walking shoes are recommended. The route is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. The walk is conducted in Dutch and is led by an experienced guide.

- Price: €15 per person (including entrance ticket to the Amsterdam Water Supply Dunes)
