War Stories in the Dunes
Zuid-Kennemerland National Park is home to many traces of World War II. The park still contains remnants of the Atlantic Wall, a defensive line. This line stretched 5,000 kilometers and was designed to prevent an attack. Bunkers, anti-tank walls, and other obstacles can be seen. There are also sites where resistance heroes were executed.
Discover History by bike

A bicycle with gears is required for the excursion. The route is approximately 20 km. You can also rent a bicycle. Please remember to wear sturdy shoes, as some walking is involved. Participants will meet at the Duinpieperpad entrance at Kop van de Zeeweg in Bloemendaal.
