200 Years of Club Love Clubs have been the beating heart of Zandvoort for centuries.
Since the 19th century, sports clubs, brass bands, theater groups, and rescue brigades have brought residents together and fostered a sense of community, dedication, and tradition.
In its exhibition “200 Years of Club Love,” the Zandvoort Museum shows how these clubs connect generations. Photographer Jac. Bakels captured the vibrant club life of the early 20th century; his unique photos offer a unique glimpse into the past.
Together with objects from the collection and contributions from contemporary clubs, a colorful story of connectedness emerges: a shared past that continues to inspire and guide the future.
