Country estates, bunkers, and the Stinkende Emmer
The routes take you past reminders of World War II and fairytale-like country estates. During the bunker walk through the Waterleidingduinen, you will discover hidden bunkers, from concrete remains to stories about espionage. With the Stinking Bucket walk, you follow the pilgrimage route of the fish runners from Zandvoort to Haarlem. You literally walk in the footsteps of the local fishermen.

From Zandvoort to Amsterdam and back again
For avid cyclists, there are tours ranging from 30 to 100 kilometers. Consider the Tour of Haarlem, passing charming villages and historic city centers, or the challenging 100 km polder ride to Amsterdam. All cycling routes are marked with junction markers so you can easily follow your own course on the map. This makes every trip a carefree journey of discovery.

Each route can be downloaded free of charge as a digital guide in PDF format, including photos, map, and points of interest. Do you have a GPS app on your smartphone? Then upload the GPX file and navigate hands-free. The guides are available in Dutch, German, and English, making it easy for international visitors to find their way around.
