Want to take your holiday and family photos to the next level? During the Festival VLOED Photography Route, you’ll walk through Zandvoort and learn professional photography tips and tricks from renowned photographer Jeroen Swolfs of Photo Class. You’re guaranteed to go home with spectacular shots and new photography knowledge!

The program

The photography route begins with a group viewing of Photo Class theory videos about smartphone technology, lighting, and composition—while enjoying a cup of coffee. Then you’ll set off on a lovely walk through the village, the dunes, and back along the beach. Along the way, you’ll encounter many photographic situations and directions, giving everyone the opportunity to take beautiful photos using specific assignments.

After the walk

After a walk of about two hours, you’ll return to De Blauwe Tram. There, you’ll select your best photos and send them to Photo Class. They’ll edit your photos and create a presentation of all the participants’ images, including personalized feedback in the style of “Het Perfecte Plaatje” (Perfect Picture). Jeroen Swolfs will also select the three best photos of the day, which will be displayed at Zandvoort Library after the festival. The winners will receive a framed photo.

Who is the photography route for?

The photography route is suitable for beginners and all smartphone types. The only preparation you need is a fully charged phone. Wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather, and be inspired by the beautiful Zandvoort landscapes.
