Zandvoort Beach for Amsterdam

Sabrina - 36 years old, entrepreneur Zandvoort - I-SEAYOU Photography

In Zandvoort, I found my place closer to the sea, which I became strongly connected to through The Surf Project. As a volunteer with this organisation, I discovered the impact of surfing on children with Down, Autism or ADHD. Partly because of this project, I started surfing and teaching. Soon Rapa Nui became my second home as a result. After an Australian adventure, I accidentally settled in Zandvoort. Now I enjoy life at the coast, the sea and surfing every day and don't want to leave here.

I combine my work as a paediatric physiotherapist with my passion for art and portrait photography. Surfing further sparked my interest in photography, and I-SEAYOU Photography was born out of this combination. I enjoy the contact and connection with people as well as capturing special moments.

"Discover the freedom of surfing!"

My Zandvoort tips

My tip for everyone: discover the freedom of surfing! Never stood on a board before? Then start with a surf lesson at Surfana here at Rapa Nui: the place where it all started for me! In the village, I often visit Nalu, the local surf shop of Zandvoort. They not only sell surf-related stuff, but also really cute clothes. And if - like me - you love a good breakfast, go to Noble Tree. The breakfast there is so good, it's hard to choose between everything they have on the menu. My personal favourite: the steak sandwich!
