When the sun shines, even on an average day in Zandvoort you immediately have a holiday feeling. In Zandvoort, everything is within easy reach. This makes spontaneous family outings after dinner easy: play in the dunes, build sandcastles on the beach or enjoy an ice cream on a bench on the Kerkplein. In Zandvoort, you can do it all. The catering offer in Zandvoort is very diverse. When I moved here with my husband six years ago, we decided we wanted to discover all the catering establishments. We have succeeded quite well!
As a member of the editorial team for the municipalities of Haarlem and Zandvoort, I am busy sharing news and updating our social media channels on a daily basis. This way, we want to keep everyone up to date with what's going on as much as possible. I am originally a journalist, which is why I find it very interesting to use my role to contribute to topics that take place in my own area.

My Zandvoort tips
Did you know you can have a fantastic breakfast in Zandvoort? There are many nice places in the village and on the beach where you are welcome as early as 9 o'clock. In the morning, the beach is very quiet and the air is lovely and fresh. For families with children, the Zuidduinen are a true play paradise! Perfect for climbing adventures in the dunes and discovering natural treasures. Especially around Swan Lake, where there is also a small sheltered beach, ideal for windy days. We come there all year round. And don't forget to visit the Juttersmu-ZEE-um with the children, where your jetted finds might even get a place in the exhibition!
