Mel's Pintxos Wine Bar

In November 2023, Mel's Pintxos & Winebar opened its doors. The restaurant has a unique location, namely in the middle of 'the chicken stairs'. That may not mean much to you but it is the staircase that provides a shortcut from Zeestraat to the centre of Zandvoort. After 31 years of running a beach pavilion, owners Jeroen and Hanneke were ready for a new challenge in 2022. And they found it in the Pintxos & Winebar.

At Mel's you order the tastiest tapas and pintxos, small sandwiches with different toppings. A fun way to share your food. To prepare the dishes in the best possible way, the owners took a course in Bilbao. This way, they try to convey the taste and experience as well as possible here on the coast. Order a nice Spanish wine with this, close your eyes and imagine an evening in Spain. Do you already know which appetisers you will order?
