Theatre The Meeting

Zandvoort theatre association Wim Hildering plays Robbert Jan Proos' tragi-comedy The Meeting, directed by Nathalie Plantinga, at De Blauwe Tram.

The story: a group of people have been organising a food and drink fair for a good cause for years. Every year, in the first meeting after the event, evaluation is on the agenda. And that hasn't been a fun meeting for a long time. The group has been divided since the death of their old chairman and the new chairman is unable to keep things together. And then a potential new board member joins the meeting and half of them didn't even know it. You can think of this performance as a feast of recognition for anyone who occasionally holds meetings. You may even experience it as a source of irritation at the same time.
