Jazz in Zandvoort

We are delighted to announce the eighth concert, 13 April 2025, in this series of already 22nd season. 

                                            The concert will be provided by: 

Menno Daams' Unaccounted Four

             The quartet comprises Menno Daams, cornet / David Lukács, clarinet and tenor saxophone / Durk Hijma, guitar / Joep Lumeij, bass                                                                    

Formed in 2008, the ensemble plays without percussion and piano. This gives a fantastic timbre that might best described as chamber jazz. The repertoire includes jazz classics and own compositions which have been arranged there Menno Daams.

In short, this is going to be a surprisingly swinging afternoon. 

The regular venue, theatre de Krocht, is being renovated. We may now organise the concerts, temporarily, in: Nieuw Unicum, Zandvoortselaan 165, 2042XK Zandvoort. You are welcome from 13.30. Start concert 14.30 hrs.

 Entrance fee € 15,=, reservation of tickets for all concerts only via www.jazzinzandvoort.nl. If you would like a Passe Partout for the rest of the concerts season 22, is available at www.jazzinzandvoort.nl, please send an email to info@jazzinzandvoort.nl. Unfortunately, ticket sales at the venue are not possible due to the layout of Nieuw Unicum.

New Unicum also has the option of staying for a bite to eat afterwards: 

Menu A: Veal loin with thyme sauce, gnocchi/fries, green asparagus/raw salad, tarte tatin with caramel sauce and vanilla sauce.

Menu B: Red gurnard with beurre blanc sauce, gnocchi/ Chips, green asparagus/raw vegetables, tarte tatin with caramel sauce and vanilla sauce.

This menu for only €21.50 pay at Nieuw Unicum by PIN only.

Number of reservations is maximum 60 people.
