Ode to the music of Rogier van Otterloo and Harrie Bannink

The concert will be performed by:  

Edwin Rutten, vocals / Jean Louis van Dam, piano / Phaedra Kwant, bass / Frits Landesbergen, drums

This afternoon we will hear interpretations of the pieces written by Rogier van Otterloo and Harrie Bannink, which have since become have become standards in the Dutch songbook. Edwin Rutten, a jack-of-all-trades who has done just about everything an artist can think of, will sing this afternoon. Phaedra Kwant is a formidable player of double bass and bass guitar. Graduated Master at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam and in 2016 she was voted best jazz/fusion bass player in the Benelux in short, great that she can be there this afternoon. Jean Louis van Dam and Frits Landesbergen, these two musical giants make with Edwin and Phaedra another great swinging afternoon.

The regular venue, theatre de Krocht, is being renovated. We may now organise the concerts, temporarily, in: Nieuw Unicum, Zandvoortselaan 165, 2042XK Zandvoort. You are welcome from 13.30. Start concert 14.30 hrs.

Entrance fee € 15,=, reservation of tickets for all concerts only via www.jazzinzandvoort.nl. If you would like a Passe Partout for the rest of the concerts, please send an email to info@jazzinzandvoort.nl. Unfortunately, ticket sales at the venue are not possible due to the layout of Nieuw Unicum.

New Unicum also has the option of staying for a bite to eat afterwards: This time there is a very wide choice of a stew buffet, something for everyone.  Stew of Kale / Hutspot / Sauerkraut / Endive with Smoked sausage or Casserole ribs / Hachee / minced meat ball and for dessert, Apfelstrudel with vanilla ice cream.
