On Thursday, June 26, Zandvoort Vertelt presents the unique site-specific performance *Kogel in de kont* (recommended ages 12 and up) at the Zandvoorts Museum: a poignant, suspenseful, and intimate 20-minute short theatre piece about memories, guilt, and survival.
Based on a story by Thys Ockersen, the performance takes visitors to post-war Zandvoort. When Thys looks back on his youth as an adult, the stories of his neighbors Puck and Jan reveal how war and moral choices continue to impact ordinary lives for years to come, even here, right in the middle of our village.
This production is the first play to emerge from Zandvoort Vertelt…, a local initiative that seeks out the small, personal stories of our village and brings them to life in unique locations.
