The first edition in 1971 was organized by Theo Hilbers. Local fishmongers with fish carts provided traditional fish meals for Zandvoort residents and tourists, bringing together the fishing village and seaside resort. His son, Erwin Hilbers, continues this tradition in collaboration with ‘t Wapen van Zandvoort and Kroon Vis. We continue to celebrate this tradition.
