From January 31st to May 25th, 2026, the Zandvoort Museum will be dedicated to the expressive sculpture of Marlène Sjerps. In the exhibition “Sculpture Now!”, the Zandvoort artist will showcase a selection of her most characteristic bronze sculptures.
Sjerps is known for sculptures that combine strength and vulnerability. Her work makes emotions tangible and invites visitors to reflect on the beauty of imperfection and the power of human existence. The exhibition also brings back several iconic sculptures previously on display along the Zandvoort boulevard, demonstrating a strong connection to the sea and its surroundings.
With Sculpture Now!, the Zandvoort Museum pays tribute to an artist who has played a prominent role in both the local and national art worlds for decades.
