Historische lezing 200 jaar badplaats Zandvoort

This year, Zandvoort celebrates 200 years as a seaside resort. On Sunday, April 26, historian Koen Marijt (also known as Koen van Toen) will give a lecture in which he discusses the origins of the resort. He will talk about the construction of the road, the realization of the bathhouse, and the five commissioners who largely made this possible. But Koen will also focus on Zandvoort and its inhabitants themselves: what did they notice about the transformation into a seaside resort?
