Festival VLOED

Festival VLOED — Three days of art, nature, and surprises in Zandvoort.

From Thursday, May 14 to Saturday, May 16, Zandvoort will be the setting for the very first edition of VLOED, a new annual cultural festival. During Ascension weekend, enjoy three days of art, music, theatre, and dance — at surprising indoor and outdoor locations. Discover. Experience. Enjoy.

VLOED brings local stories to life at iconic locations in the village and amidst the Zandvoort dunes. In the vibrant festival heart in the center, you will find free performances, street theater, and creative activities for young and old.

This is no average festival, but a cultural journey of discovery . Here, you experience art not just from a chair, but right along the way: during walking routes full of surprising cultural ‘pit stops’. For example, there is a Bunker Route with dance performances by De Dutch Don’t Dance Division and a Photography Route with a workshop by photographer Jeroen Swolfs . There is a special Kids Route for children.

In the evening , VLOED opens the doors of three unique locations — the Village Church, the KNRM Zandvoort boathouse , and Theater De Krocht — which together form the evening route . At each location, you will experience an intimate dance or music performance that moves you.

VLOED is a festival full of movement . Let yourself be swept along for three days by the creative flow that floods Zandvoort! Visit festivalvloed.nl as well.
