On Tuesday 22 July, the Protestant Church in Zandvoort will be transformed into the setting for an evening full of culture, encounters and inspiration. During the Culture Night – part of Pride at the Beach – visitors will receive a fully catered programme full of music, theatre and conversation for just ten euros.
Bookseller and story lover Arno Koek will open the evening and will talk to social entrepreneur Raisa Sambo, known for her sharp eye for diversity, inclusion and her work as a moderator, trainer and podcast maker.
Singer-songwriter Ruud Houweling performs together with viola player Ro Krauss. Expect a musical performance with personal songs and stories that touch you. Houweling’s openness and Krauss’ virtuosity make for an impressive interplay that will stay with you.
The evening ends with the play De Biecht , written by Martine Faber. A moving piece about identity, faith and acceptance, performed by an experienced cast under the direction of Fred Rosenhart. Since its premiere in May, the piece has received rave reviews.
Culture Night starts at 19:30 (doors open at 19:00) and ends at 22:00. Including break.
