Birds in old and young forests
In this part of the National Park, there are young and century-old trees. You’ll see birds like the marsh tit and the goldcrest. The wood warbler flies from branch to branch, singing. Listen for its “pjuu, pjuu, pjuu” followed by “sip-sip-sip-sirrrr…”. There are also many small songbirds in the forest: chiffchaff, finch, great tit, blue tit, and nuthatch. They all have a different song. And with a bit of luck, you’ll also hear the nightingale sing.
