At dusk, Zandvoort transforms into a vibrant backdrop. During the VLOED festival’s Evening Route, you’ll walk as a group past three iconic locations in the village. At each location, a unique performance awaits, each one enhanced by the unique setting—intimate, raw, or grandiose. An unforgettable evening of dance, music, and theater with the sea as a recurring theme.
The program along three locations
Theater de Krocht – The Amazing Katleen
At the newly opened Theater De Krocht, talented acrobat Katleen will be performing. With graceful acrobatics and hilarious blunders, she’ll keep you captivated until the very end. A stunning blend of technique and humor.
KNRM Pilot – Band Coos
Among the lifeboats in the KNRM lifeboat shed, you’ll see impressive video footage of rescue operations at sea, combined with live music from the four-piece indie/folk band Coos. An atmospheric and moving combination. This performance is a collaboration with the Patronaat pop venue.
The Village Church – Dutch Don’t Dance Division
The evening concludes in the Dorpskerk (Village Church), where you’ll be completely absorbed in the dance performances of the Dutch Don’t Dance Division. Dance, song, and large group choreography alternate, with stories about the Zandvoort shipwreck and the sea as a recurring theme.
