Zandvoort and the forgotten stories

This year, you will be taken around the various monuments based on some forgotten stories. Surprising to many. You will notice, there are funny stories about water and fire, among other things, but also strong stories, which you may wonder if it is really true. About craftsman Paulus Loot who bought Zandvoort 300 years ago. And a story about a lifeguard who lost his ear during a rescue at sea.

The participating buildings are open to everyone free of charge during this weekend. Stories will be told about cultural customs, traditions and crafts.

The cultural event connects people with monuments and shows that the stories and beauty of monuments enrich our environment and ourselves.

During the route, you will visit the Town Hall, the St. Agatha Church, Hotel Faber, the Protestant Church, the Zandvoorts Museum and the KNRM.

A special booklet has been released with a route and great stories. It can be picked up for free at the Zandvoorts Museum.
